Step Up Women's Network is a national non-profit membership organization dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls. Through teen empowerment programs for underserved girls, women's health education and advocacy, professional mentorship and social networking opportunities, we educate and activate our members to ensure that women and girls have the tools they need to create a better future.

Step Up is a cycle of philanthropy and help develop women professionally and holistically so that they can give back most effectively. In turn, Step Up leverages the talents and skills of its members to offer year-round Teen Empowerment programming for underserved girls. Partnering with schools in Manhattan, Queens, and Harlem, we run innovative and comprehensive programs that develop girls into the "Total Woman" -- a woman who is healthy, confident, and educated.

2008 marks Step Up's 10-Year Anniversary of service to women and girls nationwide.
To celebrate the organization's decade of accomplishments, Step Up is hosting its
annual Inspiration Awards to honor women and companies who embody the spirit
and mission of Step Up. This year's honorees include Jennifer Love Hewitt,
Kelly Rutherford, Andrea Wong (President, Lifetime), Lisa Shotland (Creative Artists Agency),
and the Dove Self Esteem Fund.
